Benjamin Sammons – Welcome to the Vandals!

Vandal Family, yet ANOTHER commit for the 2022-2023 season! Please welcome Benjamin Sammons to the team! Oh boy, our defense is getting scary...

Benjamin is a close defender from Vallivue High School in Caldwell, Idaho. He's been playing lacrosse for about two years, and the natural talent shows. His high school coach had very positive remarks to share about him, "Ben is one of the best teammates you could ask for and an incredibly coachable kid who wants to work to get better."

Coach Raichl mentioned that, "Ben is the exact type of player we want on the team – a good teammate, coachable, and works to get better every day."

At the University of Idaho, Benjamin will be studying Criminology, one of the newer majors at the school. When asked what he was most excited about, Benjamin said, "I'm coming to a great program and a great school that wants me there, and wants me to be apart of building a great team and a great culture."
