The Vandals kicked off the year on Thursday, September 2nd with the first team meeting of the Fall semester! Coach Raichl only has words of excitement to share following the meeting.
Boy, does it feel good to say this – Vandal fans, WE ARE BACK (almost)!! We concluded our fall meeting this past week. It was our first full team organized activity since March 7th, 2020. At the meeting, we had the best turnout we have had in recent years with 23 guys at the meeting, and a handful more interested in joining this Fall or Spring! If all goes according to plan, as far as travel restrictions and university protocols, the Vandals will be playing lacrosse around October 23rd at a Fall Ball tournament in Missoula! It has been a very long, difficult road back, and, to be honest, we are not all the way there yet. This is just the first small step in returning to full functionality, but we are so excited to have the opportunity to bear the Black and Gold again.
We are planning on having a Parent Meet & Greet in Missoula during our Fall tournament (more information to come). Hopefully, we're able get together to make up for all the lost time! I personally cannot wait to meet all our new Vandal Families and, ideally, get back to normal as soon as we can.
